Player details

Please note that membership and session access are subject to the club’s decision. Signing up does not automatically guarantee membership. All applicants are required to attend a trial session with the Badminton Performance Group at a cost of £12. After the trial, if the applicant meets the standard levels for Dragon Badminton — high-level on Tuesdays or intermediate/open on Wednesdays — they will be eligible to join these sessions. For those who do not meet the required level, we offer alternative sessions through No-Strings sessions and Thursday night club sessions, as well as training programmes with the Badminton Performance Group to help players reach their objectives. We encourage all applicants to assess their current level as accurately as possible before booking a trial. While we seek high-level players who can represent the club in leagues, we are committed to providing opportunities and support for all players, ensuring no one is left behind.

Playing Standard & Trial Session Policy *Dragon Badminton Club is designed for high intermediate, advanced and competitive players only. To ensure an enjoyable and balanced experience for all members, please assess your playing standard honestly before booking a trial session. The trial session costs £12 and lasts 2 hours. During the session, our coaches and organisers will assess whether your playing standard is suitable for the club. If it becomes clear that your playing level is significantly below the standard required, we reserve the right to end your trial session early. This assessment may be made within the first 10–15 minutes of play if necessary. Please note that the £12 trial fee is non-refundable, including where a trial session is ended early because the player's standard does not meet the club's minimum playing level. By submitting this form and booking a trial, you confirm that: You understand Dragon Badminton Club is intended for high intermediate and above players. You have assessed your playing ability honestly. You accept that the organisers' assessment of your playing standard is final. You understand that the trial fee is non-refundable if your playing standard is found not to meet the club's requirements.
